This new show invites you to travel to a wonderful world that lies between reality and fantasy. Experience the adventures of Alice: travel down the rabbit hole in pursuit of the White Rabbit and explore the Enchanted Forest, meeting the Mad Hatter and the Cheshire Cat along the way. A whimsical adventure that evokes the stories and dreams of childhood.
Gianfranco Iannuzzi comments: ‘Like previous years, together with Massimiliano Siccardi, Ginevra Napoleoni and Luca Longobardi we continue to explore unknown lands, which belong to that other form of consciousness that is the imagination. The World of Alice, a homage to Lewis Carroll is therefore a fantasy in which the spectator explores the world with the curiosity and the imagination of the child that lies within us all. The spectator wanders into a forest populated by white rabbits, falls down an endless well, hesitates between several doors that appear before him, crosses a magical garden, and is invited to have tea on a mysteriously floating table. Perhaps he has ventured too far into the world of dreams… Reason brings him back to reality, shattering this enchanted universe. Alice’s journey is an open door to the imagination. I think we will always have a need for fantasy in a society that is increasingly pragmatic and materialistic.’
